Event chains

Missing Scientist is a pre-FTL civilization event chain that can trigger if an Observation Post is conducting Passive Observation on a pre-Industrial Age civilization. It can happen multiple times per game. Once the event chain starts dismantling the Observation Post or revealing the empire's presence will no longer be possible until the event chain ends one way or another.

Religious Conflicts on [pre-FTL world name]

[pre-FTL world name] has descended into a massive war following the successful extraction of our rogue scientist. The empire [he or she] built has fragmented into several quarreling factions, each with their own interpretation of his religious dogma.
Fighting has been particularly fierce due to the destructive weaponry the natives are now using. Several radiological "dirty bombs" have so far been detonated by the opposing factions, and it looks like the conflict is only getting started.
